We partnered with OnCuba Travel, to give you a unique cultural experience exploring the art and surf communities of Cuba. Talks with Cuban artists, creative workshops, beach cleanups, and surf sessions with the locals (dependent on conditions) nourish your thirst for new experiences, connection, and purpose.
During this 6-day, 5-night tour, you stay in Casa Particulares and eat in private restaurants enjoying the company of local entrepreneurs, creatives, surfers, and environmental crusaders.

By joining us, you directly support the growth and empowerment of Cuba’s surf community. We help our Cuban brothers and sisters clean the coastlines and learn how to surf (if conditions permit). Plus, a portion of the trip cost goes towards the development of surf and marine conservation programs in Cuba.
In nurturing a relationship with the ocean through these programs, Cuba’s youth are being gifted a tool for strengthening mental well-being, resiliency, and social and environmental stewardship.

The itinerary
Day 1
- Arrive at José Martí Airport in Havana from Ft. Lauderdale/Miami
- Transfer to your Casa Particular
- Lunch at Dona Eutimia paladar
- Creative workshop in visual storytelling at
OnCuba Office - Walking cultural tour through Old Havana with the company of Astrid Santana (Habana University Professor)
- Dinner at Starbien
- Visit the FAC. Fabrica de Arte Cubano
Day 2
- Breakfast at your Casa Particular
- You will start your day with VelóCuba (a female-owned bicycle business), who will lead a tour through the new design district of the city. We will visit Clandestina (first design shop in Cuba), Piscolabis (a great stop for home decor), Taller de la Gráfica (a silk printing studio).
- Lunch at Cafe Laurent
- Visit some artists’ studios (Adriana Arronte, Mabel Poblet, Jorge Otero)
- Relax at your Casa Particular
- Dinner at El del Frente
- After dinner we will give you options for evening explorations
Day 3
- Breakfast at your Casa Particular
- Community outreach with the local surf community in Santa Fe
- Lunch at El Laurel
- After lunch you will visit a coral castle and participate in a beach cleanup
- Hang out in Santa Fe surfing / relaxing

Day 4

- Tour at Divino, a community-driven organic farm, followed by a Farm to Table lunch
- Community outreach with the local surf community in Playa Megano
- Afternoon surfing/relaxing at Playa Megano

- After dinner tour of modern Havana in vintage cars
Day 5
- Breakfast at your Casa Particular
- Visit the Acuario Nacional de Havana for a tour and a dolphin/sea lion
experience - Lunch at Melen Club
- Visit the first independent study of music in Cuba where musician, producer,
and director, DJ Jigue, will speak with you about this project and lead Cuban salsa lessons - Relax at your Casa Particular

FAQ
Travel to Cuba is different from most other places. One of those differences is that the government determines whether we can visit certain facilities. As such, plans can change from the original itinerary. We will strive to keep as close to the itinerary as possible and ensure that any changes will be communicated. Time also passes more slowly on the island and the nature of group travel means we may not be able to fit in every activity. Please be flexible and willing to go with the flow with a smile!
